==Early Life and Career==
Piyush Tewari was born in Kanpur, India to Reena and Vinay Tewari on May 19, 1980. Piyush has two siblings, Neha (sister) and Anshul (brother). Piyush went to Naval Public School in New Delhi and holds a bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Delhi University.
During his time in college, Piyush was closely involved with AIESEC,〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=ISSUU - 40under40 Publication by AIESEC International )〕 a global student-led organization. Immediately after college he joined the India Brand Equity Foundation (IBEF) where he led various “nation brand building” initiatives. Following his stint at IBEF, he joined the Calibrated Group — a US-based private-equity firm – and became the Managing Director of the company’s India operations in early 2008.〔
